Rest In Peace My Beautiful Angel!leahhhhhh
Leah was 16 Years old when another child, Tabitha Love assaulted her in Henderson, NV.  The details are sketchy, but from what we gather, Tabitha was upset at Leah for being disrespectful to her mother.  She thought she would teach her a lesson.  She slapped her, then put her wrist (which had a studded bracelet on it) up to her throat holding her down or against a wall, which cut off her cartoid artery, causing a lack of oxygen to her brain we believe.  Nobody withnessed this, although Tabitha did confess to it.  Leah called me, asked me to come and get her.  I ran to her.  I did not make it in time.  I came in my pajamas, running out of the house in slippers, but my car didnt start right away.  Then, when I got there, Tabitha brashely told me she had to hit Leah for disrespecting me.  I asked her where Leah was now, and she told me inside, being a bitch lying on the couch, and wouldnt get up.  In reality, she had what could have been a Psuedo psycho seizure, in which she suffered from with severe stress.  She was actually dead when I arrived, and I did cpr and called 911.  We got her back, but this was not the blessing we had hoped for, as she suffered in a near vegetative state for 9 long months.  During those months, Tabitha was charged with felony battery with substantial bodily harm.  She pled guilty to a lesser charge of assault.  While she was in the female juv. facility, Leah passed away of aspiration pnuemonia, due to hypoxic encephalapathy, due to an assault on 10.20.  It is listed as homicide.  She went from this beatiful lovely bright eyed angel, 115 lbs, to 70 lbs, wasting away and her body curling up and dying, one day at a time.  She was a poet.  She had a heart of gold.  She loved you for who you were, not what you wore, or what you had.  She had friends from all different groups, gays, stoners, straight a students, sports, you name it.  She accepted everyone for who they were, and had the attitude that she was who she was, and if you didnt like it, well....(*ck you!
